Scholarship Application

The Black Friday College Fund is dedicated to helping economically challenged minority students achieve their dreams. The BFCFund believes no student should be deprived of a quality education due to lack of school funds or social and mental health services. We will offer an initial award of $2000 and will hold another $1000 in reserve for support services. 

The 2019 application deadline is April 30, 2019. Scholarship awards will be announced by May 31, 2019. There is one award available for a maximum of $3000.

Scholarship requirements include:

  • Must be a graduating senior or new college student; ages 18-24

  • Plan to attend 4 year college or university

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Minority

  • Demonstrate financial need

Documents Needed:

All applicants will need to submit the documents below. Applicants should submit files through the web app at the bottom of the page. Applicants will need the following:

  1. Official high school transcript

  2. FAFSA application or proof of financial need

References must be submitted by May 6th in order to be considered for the scholarship. References will receive a separate form to fill out via email from info@bfcfund.org.
